HRC succeeded in reaching a favourable settlement with the Valuation Officer three months after the appeal had been served.
This resulted in Energiekontor receiving a substantial rates refund, with total savings delivered through to 2017 amounting to over £180,000
Energiekontor now benefits from a rates charge well below that paid by the owners of other high yielding onshore wind farms in the UK.
